October 23-29, 2016

Every October, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) raise awareness about lead poisoning and its effects on children. The week focuses on ways parents can reduce a child's exposure and its health effects on children through educational activities throughout the week. This year's topic of interest also includes lead in drinking water. Click here for additional information, promotional, and resource material.
