A Conversation with Dr. Laura Anderko: Children’s Health Month Podcasts

October is Children’s Health Month and the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) theme for 2015 is "Protecting Children’s Health in a Changing Climate.”  In celebration of Children’s Health Month, Region 3 developed a series of three podcasts on Climate Change and Children’s Health featuring Dr. Laura Anderko. Dr. Anderko is the Director of the Mid-Atlantic Center for Children’s Health and the Environment (MACCHE) and a 2013 White House Champion of Change recipient, recognized for her leadership in raising awareness about climate-related health effects.  The podcast series covers the impacts of climate change, as listed below, and includes steps parents/caregivers can take to protect children. They can also be found on the EPA Children’s Health Month page at http://www2.epa.gov/children/childrens-health-month.
